Looking for a unique pose and capture, so i waited patiently. This guy was preening, and preening, finally settled down for a nap, so i decided to get busy! I'm always learning, and that's ok, just seems, every corner one turns there's another lesson... example..DOF here.. This is F 8, however remember as your focal length increase, the inverse happens with your dof.... i had a busy bkg, so i filled the frame with the majority of the subject, and this is the result...Perhaps F10 plus, probably F 16 or so, would have rendered, a better dof here, but as my guess would have it.. the dof drop off is almost correct.... I'll let you decide and feel free to offer your suggestions, one can never improve from votes alone, real constructive review does! Click on image to darken the BKG.
