"Traverse!"
"In the most dramatic departure from the original Slugger model, The Slugger II has a unique design that technically allows for full 360 degrees traverse, although the tremendous recoil of the cannon means that the practical operational traverse is limited to far less than this."
The Slugger needed some traverse, but I wanted to add this without changing its signature look a whole lot. Eventually it seemed like what made most sense was to simply make the entire top of the vehicle one great big turret. Since it doesn't fire on the move, the driver can also function as the gunner when the Slugger is stationary. It's kind of out there, but it is a bit of a surprise, and I like how it makes the vehicle my own - it's almost a bit like a Transformer :)
