MEET 777man… as he BLASTS one of the event (Wings & Wheels Heritage Festival 2008) co-ordinators who has a natural stance similar to a “Doonesbury” character. Likely, the carefree attitude to go with it as well.
And because of that, 777man is losing his marbles, again.
He’s in that guys face…ALMOST as close as he got to JETBOY’s face.
777man has a point, though.
WHAT WAS 777man’s point?
Well…when the marshal guided JETBOY and his L-29 fighter jet into position he signaled to JETBOY to swing his aircraft around and JETBOY with not a care in his head, dutifully responded.

And yes, sticks and stones and tarmac debris can break your bones, teeth, faith in the goodness of man, whatever…
The point lost on JETBOY initially, but I’m sure he’ll never forget it now, as even I have nightmares about it, is…
“YOU SIR are in control of that airplane!
And JETBOY, rapidly losing the will to live, pathetically responded, “But the marshall told me to swing it around!”
777man bellowed, “YOU SIR, ARE IN CHARGE OF THAT PLANE!!!!!
In other words JETBOY…its supposed to be ALL ABOUT safety…and would you drive your jet into a wall…if the marshall “motioned” you to do it???
No, no, you wouldn’t.
And that’s why, JETBOY just stood there, and he had nothing left to say.
By the way, JETBOY…777man is not jus’ any superhero.
He is an Air Canada Boeing 777 pilot, the 777 being the current flagship airliner of the Air Canada fleet. He, therefore, is an elite pilot, chosen to fly the “cream of the crop”.
So, you just listen there, son–
AND FINALLY, 777man even owns HIS OWN airport in Tottenham…where light and ultralights congregate on a few grass strips.
And JETBLAST is never allowed.
Mike, oops, 777man even has his own Super Cub, so I’m sure Taylorcrafts are most welcome!!
