A&P car order/parcel pickup bin 134 from 1983. IPL Plastics
I snapped a couple of additional photos of the legendary green A&P car order bin. This time I was able to read the year of manufacture stamp on the bin which says “83”. As an added bonus there is now an equally old Sealtest/Dominion Dairies Limited green milk crate sitting in the bin. In addition to the Hunt Club store, this could have been from the Galleries d’Aylmer store that became Steinberg around 1988, then briefly XTRA before Steinberg’s bankruptcy in 1992 and is currently a Super C. Sadly the car order disappeared when the Steinberg’s was closed.
