English-Electric Type 1 D8040 passes under Blackwall Bridge. The line is the North London line and the train is taking the track that will allow it to join the Londo to Blackwall line just to the west of Millwall Junction station. The tracks to the left lead to the Harrow Lane sidings. The picture was taken in May 1963
