Warm welcome

So this is my first morning walk in two weeks and what a warm welcome by this young Nankeen Night-Heron! It flew across the Tranquility Bay and sat for a while on a dead tree in the middle of it, right in front of me.

Definitely a "bird of good omen" for me.
