Fallen Chaos
There's a hell of a lot wrong with this photo. Compositionally it's a complete mess (I couldn't get any closer because of a wire fence). There's simply too much in it that make the eyes bounce around. But although I didn't really want to post it there's something about this image that keeps drawing me back. I think it's the vibrantly green lichen that has covered this fallen tree, giving it new life. And of course the early morning sunlight that makes it glow.
It's a weird one. But not every photo needs to be framed, and in my mind it somehow manages to capture beauty amongst the chaos.
