Can Altay at Waltham Forest College
Can Altay’s artwork titled Distributed forms part of the Frieze Projects East series and will be up between the 16 July – 31 August.
The work on display in the College is a prototype and will be taken down on the 8 June.
Altay’s artwork will be found distributed across key buildings in Waltham Forest College in east london. Over twenty large, mirror-ball like doorknob sculptures will be placed on doors. The works are intended to be touched, used and handled by the local communities that live and work in Waltham Forest.
