Spiked Dodecahedramacation
A dodecahadron for the Zen Magnets contest.
Obviously a pin build.
The shape loses perspective tremendously do to the 2D nature of the picture. (It looks better in person.)
Hopefully you guys can understand what's going on in the structure... I know that sometimes it can get a little confusing.
Five pins are connected to the core shape. (That general dodecahedron core with the c60 sphere in the very center that everybody and their mother uses...)
The five pins connect to a ring of fifteen magnets, which then connect to another five pins with a single magnet on top.
In between the rings of fifteen are two pins connecting each ring to each other.
I had MANY variations of this shape, but this is the one that I ended up keeping.
