Not only UK election day but American Independence Day, we're going left it seems while all around turn to the right!! The main line here has certainly seen a decline in importance in recent years, Eurostars used this route until HS1 opened and prior to that London Victoria-Dover/Folkestone boat trains plied these metals. These days it's not much better than a half hourly interval local service southeast of Tonbridge.
