The Empire
The Empire Theatre on Marine Parade in Great Yarmouth is a grade II listed building. It was designed by architect Arthur S. Hewitt as a purpose-built cinema. It opened on 1st July 1911 and operated as a cinema until the late 1960’s. It's been a bingo hall, a family entertainment venue and a nightclub known as Zen. It's been closed since September 2008.
