Zoropsidae spinimana

Zoropsis spinimana is a large, heavy set, slow moving spider. Like all zoropsid spiders, Zoropsis spinimana does not build a web but is an active hunter. Traditionally a Mediterranean species, Zoropsis spinimana is now being found established in the USA and UK. Most records for this species in the UK have been in London, though this large female was found in a garden shed in Richmond, Surrey.
