The Dance Of The Ladybird Spider.
This morning I decided to pair the male and female E.kollari and it was a complete success. They started with a 3 and half minute dance, before the male climbed under the female and used his first legs to grasped he abdomen. He stayed like this for exactly 32 minutes. This was basically to get the female receptive. Once he separated, he made a sperm web, filled his palps and returned to the female after about 40 minutes and repeated the process but this time staying locked together for 57 minutes. So my Sunday morning has been spent in total awe of these amazing mini beasts.
