Crochet Cable Stitch Sampler Blanket

Detail of the join and the edging. I didn't care for the busy popcorn edging in the original pattern so after completing the first huge round of single crochet around the entire edge, I did a simpler edging of alternating dc and sl st. Makes a nice texture and a very neat edge.
