Spa Bridge and Grand Hotel, Scarborough, Yorkshire, UK

The impressive multi-span cast iron bridge was built in 1827 by John Outhet, the 4 spans each of 66 feet 6 inches only carry pedestrians today, but it was, in the past, open to vehicular traffic. It leads to the magnificent Grand Hotel, built in 1867 at a cost of £100,000, at the time it was the largest hotel and brick building in Europe!
