Shoes made using recycled plastic by a small community organisation in Cameroon as part of the Waste to Wealth project activities.
Living Earth Foundation launched its ‘Waste to Wealth’ project in response to the urgent need to improve the lives of the increasing number of impoverished and vulnerable people residing in urban slum areas in Douala (Cameroon), Port Harcourt (Nigeria) and Kampala (Uganda). Living Earth in partnership with its local partners, will work in these countries to deliver this three-year, multi-country Urban Waste project.
