Tilly Townsville shod

I think at this point Tilly had shoes put on the front feet as she was miserable in the wet conditions with her thin soles. Quite the dilemma because of course in shoes you have to deal with the peripheral loading and lack of sole support, but the options were pretty limited, so it was back to square one.

 

Looking back I am wondering how casting would have worked in this situation as an alternative to shoes. The only concern would be how the hoof would fare in the constant wet conditions inside the cast. I think I will need to do some research into this.
