Simba
Simba is a kitten boarding in our vet clinic for three weeks. Because he and his two older "sisters" are in separate cages they are unable to properly socialize him and he is therefore becoming the world's cutest monster. I'm starting to imagine him in a couple years returning to the vets for his annual exam and it's not going to be pretty. His sisters are going to have a lot of work to do making up for lost time when they all go home.
Chilli (in the comments) is a six year old who was abandoned at our clinic at Christmas time and has been with us ever since. How can people do this?? She is very affectionate and loves attention when she's with people she knows but is a little shy when around lots of strangers and their cats. Normally we put cats that are up for adoption in the front lobby where people can see them but this isn't a good option for Chilli.
