Because of Jimmy's reluctance to urinate in his litter box I've started taking him out several times a day just like you would a dog. For the past three days he's been too skittish and nervous to pee and I've figured out why. We have a small overhang in front of our townhouse that provides some shelter from the snow and the bitterly cold winds we've been having. Unfortunately Dirt, the neighborhood bully, seems to prefer our overhang to his own. To make matters worse the black cat pictured above has been hanging around and this morning he and Dirt were actually fighting over Jimmy's territory! It's very possible that every time I've taken him outside to pee there is at least one male cat lurking under the overhang or in the bushes ready to attack. Not at all a good situation for being caught with your pants down! lol
