Diana:our Princess of Wales.

Everyone will probably remember where they were the day Diana died.

I was in Oxford, about to travel to London, to visit the flower markets at Convent Garden as a student florist.

My husband David and I laid a rose at Kensington gates. It was the most unforgetable sight seeing the carpet of flowers and the quiet diginity of the people, as we all politely queued up to take our place at the gate.

I respected and admired Diana. She championed many causes I hold dear; the under-privileged, the poor, Aids and human rights to name a few.

How she died and all the mystery surrounding her death still goes on. But for whatever reason, her death has touched me more than anyones. It makes no sense. She was going to do so much more. What a tragic waste of a life!

One day we will know the truth, perhaps not in my life time but the time will come.

Rest in peace Diana. We will not forget you.
