London Central WHV111 (BX14 TJV) on route 1 at Waterloo
Ex-demonstrator WHV111 has recently been re-blinded. It was probably the newest double decker in the Go-Ahead fleet to wear dayglo blinds. They were an old set which were suspected to be from one of the 453's Es. They may have even been the same set WVL363 wore for a while.
As far as I know, the newer WHVs on the no. 1 with newer blinds have never had 453 on the sets, so this was very likely the only conventional bus at both Mandela Way and New Cross blinded for the route.
A few months ago I was looking at some of SW11simon's older photos, and noticed one of the 453's Es blinded for the 36. It's interesting to think the old dayglo blinds that were in this might've had the 36 on them, because during the 8 or so months it spent at New Cross, it only worked the 36 once in January, and I don't believe there are any pictures to confirm if it was properly blinded.
