- Mother of pearl with a pearl

 

- Antique (19th century) mother of pearl egg shaped snuff or pill box with an attached lid. A pearl inside.

It has lovely brass or bronze fittings, two tiny handles for the closure and opening, and has a nice shell patina. Iridescent.

The box is 5 cm wide.
