Loitering with intent
A tad early, given it was only 11:20am, the Pelican had turned up for lunch at this restaurant on the shore of Sydney harbour.
He was obviously loitering with intent and used to getting a little something from the staff as not much would move him from the entrance.
I'm naturally nervous around birds, so it took a moment for me to pass it. Joshua, on the other hand, wasn't scared at all and took a selfie with Mr Pelican.
Taken back in July, when visiting Sydney with my mother and Joshua.
