Picco Neemo / Moneammi body comparison
Here are a few key differences about their aesthetics -
Picco Neemo Azone white skin S body:
- Wider hips
- Larger calves and longer thighs
- Thicker arms
- Longer neck
- Smaller feet
- Less defined bust and hands
Moneammi Elfdoll 14cm body:
- Slender calves and realistic thighs
- Defined hands with creases and nails
- Defined shoulder blades and spine
- Slightly shorter arms
- More definition on the collar bone
-------------------------------------------
Pros and Cons for the bodies:
As much as I really like the Picco Neemo body the proportions aren't the most realistically pleasing. The calves look too big for the tiny feet and the thighs look too big for the rest of the body. The arms look fine and so do the hands but the main setback is the chubbier legs. But it is my understanding that Azone dolls are supposed to be modeled after Anime characters and aren't meant to look completely realistic. But as far as the poseability goes, the Picco Neemo definitely wins. Her arms and legs hold their poses perfectly and when posed she usually won't topple over. But as far as standing goes it can be a bit of a challenge balancing the feet. The knees have to be bent slightly to stand because her feet are not flat. But this can of course be fixed if she wears shoes.
The Moneammi body has very realistic and defined body proportions. the arms are very delicate and have bigger hands but the way the hands are shaped they look very natural with the rest of the torso. The torso of the Moneammi body has smaller hips and a longer upper body. Her legs are just the right size to the rest of her body and look very natural with the size of her feet. Overall the realism in this Elfdoll body in particular is very impressive and looks very natural in pictures. But the pose ability isn't nearly as good as the Picco Neemo. Her joints are a bit kicky and it takes some balancing for her to stand much like other BJDs in this size range. But, because of her normal sized feet she can stand fairly well.
