Cape York Adventure 2017

by stalkertoow

I have just returned from a tour of the Cape York Peninsula, travelling to the northernmost point of the Australian Mainland. The cape is the size of Britain with a population of less than 20 000. Most of the roads are dirt (or worse). The landscape is varied (ranging from jungle to savannah, mountains and lagoons). Birds are plentiful (as are crocodiles, snakes and wild pigs) and it may even be the last refuge for the thylacine (aka Tasmanian tiger) which is believed extinct.
An unfortunate problem with my camera (my fault) means I have lost a few days of photos.
