Crystal Mill, Marble, Colorado

Picturesque Crystal Mill is one of the most photographed sites in Colorado. The wooden structure was built in 1893 on a scenic outcrop above the Crystal River near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. It originally provided power for the Sheep Mountain Tunnel and Mining Company, but the mine closed in 1917 and the mill was no longer used. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in July 1985.
