433mhz radio 4 channel remote control
This is a 4 channel remote control switch I made some time back. It uses the holtek ht12e and ht12d chips to encode and decode a signal to switch 4 outputs. Transmission and reception is by rf solutions chips and some cheap 433mhz whip antenna. In this configuration it has a 300 meter range but a simple change of chips would allow it to operate from up to 1000 meters. The switching of each ouput is fed through a phillips bfy51 transistor and an axicom signal relay, this in turn operates a larger 24 volt dc omron relay which can handle loads at mains voltages. The whole thing sits on a piece of din rail and is powered from a domestic 240 volt mains plug.
