Korean National Railway #6351 at Yongsan, Korea

Here is an EMD model not shown in your copy of the Diesel Spotter's Guide. Its a SDP38, one of 40 delivered to the KNR in 1966-67. The forty six-axle locomotives originally carried road numbers 6351-6390. The last 22 units in the order were assigned to freight service and had steam generators removed. As 6201-6222, the 645-powered SDs worked along-side a small number of equally unique 567-powered SDP28s, 6101-6106.
