Alco's streamlined road cab series (FA1, FA2, FPA2 and FPA4) was a big seller in Canada. Although the first eight FA1s intended for service Canada were built at the Schenectady, NY plant, production of the remaining xx cab locomotives was built by Canada's Montreal Locomotive Works, an Alco subsidiary, The #4095 seen here was one of 7 FPA-2s (#4082, 4083 and 4094 to 4098) on the CPR roster.
