2022 08 16 - hoverfly on tithonia

Try tithonia

 

I have to admit, I wasn’t keen to try tithonia. It’s a half-hardy annual, which for me seems like a lot of effort. But, someone else was keen, so we tried it… and it’s fabulous in our pollinator border.

 

The hoverfly seems to agree.
