2019 05 04 - Fence 1b
During the Second World War many of the railings in Perth were removed to 'support the war effort'. As I wandered around our neighbourhood today I noticed that some had been replaced with new, ornate railings; others had more functional substitiutes. But I think that those with only the stumps remaining (like our house) told the story clearly.
