This dashboard shows budget metadata that allows budget versus actual analysis for any earnings, deduction, or tax code from the payroll system. Note that the budget data is defined by a scenario, which serves as a way to play with various budget forecasts. Also note that this dashboard uses a fiscal calendar. The analysis presented in this example does not require an accounting system, just budget metadata uploaded by the payroll customer. The variance column is a calculated measure reflecting the under/over amount. In the example, conditional formatting has been defined to highlight any variance that is negative. The data visualization chart shows the variance amount by earnings code.
