No one lives in Smuts anymore, but St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Greek Catholic church, built in 1926 and moved to the present site in 1954, is well cared for. There are many domed churches in Saskatchewan's Ukrainian communities. This parish was founded in 1905.
I took quite a few shots of this church and had a hard time choosing which to upload. I finally selected two.
