Dendrochilum javieri

Dendrochilum javieri – This miniature orchid is characterised by its stiff slender relatively upright leaves giving an interesting foliar effect. The leaves have considerable substance but the pseudobulb is virtually non-existent. The flowers are a lime green, approximately 4mm across and occur in June and July. The spikes hold many flowers and spear upwards at a slight angle well above the foliage giving a very attractive presentation.
