Dendrobium Gatton Sunray
A Dendrobium orchid hybrid of historical significance having been registered in 1919 and receiving a First Class Certificate with the Royal Horticultural Society, England, being the highest award that could be achieved for an orchid at that time. It's parents are Dendrobium pulchellum ( formerly dalhousianum) x Dendrobium Illustre (which was Dendrobium pulchellum x chrysotoxum) . This Dendrobium grows to 2 metres tall and is still considered an incredible spectacle when flowered well.
