258/365. It's a big place, out there.
It's a funny thing, learning about space- and the unimaginable vastness of it. And I find there to be two main schools of thought- "I'm insignificant in this giant universe," and "in this giant universe, I get to exist." Now, I'm not an expert on philosophy, nor am I going to tell you what to think.
I just want to pass along the message that this place we get to live in, its a big place. Maybe you should think about that every once in a while (:
(This is a very old poster in the Astronomy building at my school, and I've always thought that it's beautiful. I'm not actually sure if it's a poster anymore. It may have been painted on- its part of the wall now. I hope they don't get rid of it in the near future.)
