The climb
The hardest of the work is nearly over for the crew of Stanier Jubilee 45699 'Galatea' as it approaches Shap summit with the northbound Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express.
The sight and sounds of the locomotive working up from Tebay was particularly impressive as there was no diesel on the back for assistance.
The Jubilee is nearing the end of it's current boiler ticket and this is likely to be its penultimate working for the immediate future.
