Cement through the fells

66780 commences it's descent towards Garsdale as it heads the 4N00 09:34 Carlisle New Yard to Clitheroe cement empties. The 2,323 foot high Wild Boar fell dominates the backdrop.

 

The downside of a customer related colour scheme is that they sometimes pop up on inappropriate workings such as here where the Cemex liveried locomotive heads a train operated for construction industry rival Castle Cement.
