Jubilee return
LMS Jubilee 45699 Galatea heading the 'Hadrian' tour through Melkridge on the Tyne Valley line on the 16th May 2015.
Following a lengthy return from near scrapyard condition. Galatea was at one stage regarded as 'unrestorable' due to it's centre driving wheels being cut at Woodhams scrap yard but after initially being purchased for spares it was gradually restored and returned to steam in 2013.
This is a reworked version of a shot I posted back in 2015 but was never entirely happy with. I've made some adjustments to the brightness and saturation and made some smaller adjustments to the composition/cropping.
