Warlock Engineer 1 left
This model was the first image that popped into my mind when I decided to collect a Skaven army - an old, crippled Engineer who rides a wheelchair that drags itself along with mechanical spider legs. I'm really quite happy with how close I was able to get to what I saw in my head.
The chair is mostly Corpse Cart, with some odds and ends thrown in. My approach to creating warmachines is to dump anything vaguely appropriate from my bitz box onto my desk, and then start fitting it together like a jigsaw, discarding pieces as the model starts to take shape.
I'm also very pleased with his 'crusty old geezer' tartan shawl - my first attempt at painting tartan, and it's actually quite straightforward! (Well, if you have low standards for painting like me, anyway...)
This was part of my project to get a School League Skaven army ready in under a month. I'm pleased with the result, but excuse the numerous mistakes!
