I got up at 5:00 one morning this fall to shoot a sunrise at a local state park. On my way there I crossed a bridge over these train tracks and noticed a hint of the dawns early light glowing on the rails of the tracks. I turned around and set up to see what the mornings light might bring.
As the mornings glow over took the darkness I was treated to the magical colors on the rails which led back to the light.
I chose the quote at the bottom of the photo as a tribute to those photographers who drag themselves out of bed in the darkness with hopes of capturing something magical, whether its a sunrise, a buck crossing a field or the silhouette of a farm scape. Happy shooting !
