CLYDE COAST SERVICES JCS819F

This is the very first slide I ever took. 1968. My gran had come back from holiday and needed her film finished. I think there were about 6 exposures left! It was a 126 Kodak camera and what you saw through the viewfinder wasn't what you got on film! Everybody in the family thought I was daft, so no change there! We were on a day trip to Largs and I pleaded to stop the car when passing through Fairlie. This was just a coach to me , but what a rare vehicle I had picked without knowing it. There were only 10 of these Albion Viking VK43L / Park Royal Royalist C41F ever built and most went to the Red House Group in the Midlands. This was the only one supplied new to a Scottish operator, delivered in 12/67
