George Paterson acquired SSK694X from Barries of Balloch in 1986, although it had been purchased new by Dunnet's of Keiss. It was a Bedford YNT / Duple Dominant IV C53F, and was captured at Duple Coachbuilders Barrhead Repair Centre. It was fitted with a Cummins engine and would remain in the fleet until 1994.
