To refocus the camera, I place a piece of frosted plastic (shiny side out) over the film rails, making sure not to interfere with the transport spool cogs. Place the camera on a tripod, point it out the window next to my workbench, and focus on a fence about 150-200 feet away while looking through the loupe at the image on the plastic. When it achieves infinity, I replace the focusing ring.
