Curtiss-Wright R-1820 Cyclone engine. Nine cylinders of power when you needed it most. These ranged anywhere from 575HP/429KW to 1525HP/1137KW, depending on the application. The Memphis Belle web site does not give the specifications on these particular engines. But I didn't know that, and so neglectd to ask. I also was taking photos while everyone else was listening to the tour guide.
