M Sync Setting
When you push the M-X Switch up to M sync, then the control knob moves down to the 8:30 o'clock position, and a blocking lever rises at the 6 o'clock position to lock the self-timer lever. If the self-timer is already wound, then you will have to waste a shot to run it off, as the blocking lever also will not let you get into M sync while the timer lever is in the way.
