The odd decker, more often than not Transdev York 2002, sometimes drops on the 844 to Leeds. Yet 28th January was an unbelievable day with 3....yes 3 decker's allocated to the York - Leeds 844. First out was 2002 the Dublin Leyland Olympian, then 2005 ( J113KCW ) and finally 2004 ( R95LHK ) all doing 3 or 4 round trips ! The issue i believe was two fold in that a vehicle shortage following the bad weather of last week coupled to the York uni service taking low floor preference means the Leeds service is now more vulnerable than ever to fall step entry. Even so 3 decker's left many staff speechless !
Here 2005 sets out from Leeds on a grim miserable day with the 13.55 to York still in York Pullman colours but with Transdev fleet names applied.
