The need to remove some non DDA compliant vehicles from the FWY fleet has seen some transfers in which normally wouldn't have happened. This is a 15 year old optare solo 50236 moved from south Yorkshire to replace a dennis dart at Halifax. The 517 was once a favourite route of mine on a Saturday when I used to ride around on buses, of course back then it was almost a guaranteed Leyland leopard from the 85xx batch. It left Halifax around lunchtime, as it still does, but this is the return from Burnley with the Lancashire hills sprawling out behind pictured.
