With two local companies painting buses in heritage West Yorkshire Road Car Co liveries it was only right to try and put them together in natural surroundings. A favourable allocation on the X84 for 37675 and connexions buses letting me borrow their omnicity for an hour after its X53 duty resulted in the capture I had been hoping for. This is just west of Otley on the A660 with 37675 heading for Leeds on the X84 and connexions Scania berthed in a suitable layby. West Yorkshire RCo had a depot in the town which still survives as a kwik fit garage. It had an allocation of just over a dozen buses. It closed on 31st March 1990 being replaced by various yards with outside parking around the town, before complete closure with the last drivers & buses moving to the main depots in Leeds a few years later.
