EWS eire welsh strider

When Newport started selling their Scania N113 Striders they were picked off by a wide range of operators and have given good service on their second lives. 5 were acquired by Lough Swilly in Northern Ireland but operate almost exclusively in the Republic of Ireland. With a day or so spare I nipped over to nail these vehicles before their age becomes the downfall probably next year. Individual vehicles are often difficult to trace in the LS fleet due to the geographical spread of the company and out-basing throughout the region. With some friendly help though I did manage to track them all down. This is 523 which was originally M76KTG on its regular school contract deep in the Irish countryside one morning last week. Acquired in July 2009 it is one of 4 in the yellow livery with the 5th vehicle in cream fleet livery.
